Over the course of six weeks, you’ll have the opportunity to be immersed in an environment that is all about the music. During each session you’ll get expert private instruction from professional guitarists and educators, Tal Morris and Kevin Russell, using lesson material specifically designed to help you master killer blues guitar technique. You’ll learn tricks of the trade while playing live with Kevin and Tal, alongside a professional, rehearsed rhythm section. And you’ll have the ultimate “guitar hang”, where you get to explore gear, practice, witness manufacturer presentations &amp;amp; lectures from special guests, and share with other guitarists. All at the premier music store in the Bay Area, Bananas At Large!

Sessions will begin on Tuesday, September 6th, 2011 and will recur every Tuesday for the following six weeks. Adult Intermediate to Advanced players should register for only $550 (plus $20 registration fee) by Friday, September 2nd, 2011 to get in on this chance to strengthen their chops in an enjoyable, music-centric setting. Tal Morris
Guitarist, Producer, Songwriter and Educator, Tal Morris is a diverse talent and one of the most respected names on guitar in the San Francisco Bay Area Music Scene. He cut his teeth sitting in on Bay Area blues legend Mark Naftalin’s live radio blues hour alongside such greats as Bukka White, Elvin Bishop, and many more. Tal has been a member of the legendary Sons Of Champlin, Creedence Clearwater Revisited, The Ronnie Montrose Band, Huey Lewis And The News, Jeff Watson, and Lone Ranger. Tal produced lead guitar tracks for W.C. Handy Award-Winner, Tommy Castro, and appeared as guest rhythm guitarist on Castro’s latest award-winning release, “Hard Believer” on Alligator Records. Tal is a faculty member at Blue Bear School Of Music in San Francisco, where he teaches Blues, Rock, and Funk guitar styles and guitar theory. Kevin Russell
Motor-City-born and raised, guitar slinger extraordinaire Kevin Russell has mastered a passionate and unique blend of Rock, Blues, and Soul in his stellar career of over 40 years. In the ‘90s, as a producer for the Blues Bureau International label, Kevin produced Rick Derringer, Pat Travers, Leslie West, and more.
